Our experience to this establishment was very unpleasant.Discovery Bay was established in the early 1970s as a mostly weekend and summer resort community. The sports bar & steakhouse in discovery bay is the ultimate East county destination to watch a game, get a casual bite to eat or enjoy a formal dining experience. I will not be going back when I visit Discovery Bay again and my friends who live in the area will not either. My friends mentioned the staff never gets the orders right. Steve listened and gave no comment to pacify my dissatisfaction. Ten days later, I called and spoke with the owner, Steve, and I express my disappointment. Magen took my name and telephone # and assured me the manager will get back to me soon. I called the restaurant and spoke with Megan who expedited our order.
The $14 calamari was meager and rubbery the sauce with it had no flavor.
DISCOVERY BAY STEAKHOUSE PLUS
Arriving home, 20 minutes away, to have our dinner the cheeseburgers were not cooked of desired temperatures plus the bacon, mushrooms and cream spinach were missing. We waited for our food over 30minutes: 4 cheeseburgers one with bacon another with mushrooms and fried calamari with a side of cream spinach.
Our take out food service was very slow during this late afternoon on Wednesday June 7, 2018.
